Anais's Birthday Party

Anais had a very nice birthday party. She invited just a couple of her good girlfriends and they enjoyed necklace crafts and a "Jewelry" cake. Dylan pulled an Ellen and and couldn't resist swiping frosting from cake.

Water Slide

And before the cake, the birthday girl and her friends enjoyed some fun on the Ariel waterslide as Daddy and the boys watched. One of the few advantages to having a hill for a backyard!

Dance Recital

The girls had their first Dance Recital and both seemed to enjoy their time on the stage. Ellen was a bit worried at first but once she got under the spotlight her smile got brighter and she did really well. Anais, although afraid she might fall off the stage, did very well and handled the choreography very well.

Trucks!

Papa and Ghio decided that their grandboys did not have enough trucks so they rushed out to Toys'r'us and bought these lovely and noisy caterpiller trucks. The boys love them and since they each have one, the fighting is at a relative minimum!

Anais's Special Day

For Anais's birthday, we had a girl's day out. Anais, Ellen, Phyllis and I went to lunch, had pedicures and went to the toy store so Anais could pick out a present. We all had a great day!

Papa-do

As I'm sure I've mentioned, the twins are obsessed with vacuuming. In fact, more often then not, we have resorted to vacuuming as a form of entertainment for the 2 of them. The boys call the vacuum "Daddy-Do" as Shawn is usually the one using it :-) Papa took over this duty during his stay and the boys loved every minute of it!

Happy Birthday, Anais!!!

Anais turned 4! Happy Birthday, baby!!!

Choo! Choo!

In celebration of Anais's 4th birthday and Memorial Day, we took a scenic ride on a historical railway nearby. We even got to go on some speeder cars. The boys REALLY enjoyed the day!

Field Day

The girls had a field day as school and did very well kicking the ball, skipping and balancing a beanbag on their heads!

The girls had swim lessons once a week this last school year and are making good progress. Anais is getting more comfortable in the water and Ellen is now floating and "swimming" on her own - although not getting very far yet. We have them in a swim camp this summer as we prepare for our water park vacation with all the Bratts.

Trike-a-thon

The girls had a trike-a-thon at their school to raise money for St. Jude's Hospital. Both did great although Ellen didn't want to use her new bike because of the size so she is looking big on her old one.

Pottytime!

We have begun the long and arduous process of teaching the boys to use a potty.Get them out of diapers and on to accidents on the furniture and target practice in the toilet as soon as possible :-)

Parent Appreciation Day

The girls are in the same class at their preschool and had a special show and reception to show us Mommies and Daddies some love. They sang several songs including a few in Spanish and then presented us with beautiful flower pots.

The girls had to dress up in their dance recital costumes for photo day. I wasn't quick enough with the camera when Ellen was dressed up but did manage to get a good photo of Anais. Too cute!
